Kaeleigh and Raeanne are 16-year-old identical twins, the daughters of a district court judge father and politician mother running for U.S. Congress. Everything on the surface seems fine, but underneath run very deep and damaging secrets. When the girls were nine, Daddy turned to his beloved Kaeleigh in ways a father never should. Raeanne needs to numb the pain of not being Daddy's favorite; Kaeleigh wants to do everything she can to feel something normal, even if it means cutting herself and vomiting after every binge. How Kaeleigh and Raeanne figure out just what it means to be whole again when their entire world has been torn to shreds is the guts and heart of this powerful, disturbing, and utterly remarkable book.
i read Identical. ive read all of ellen hopkins books. and i love all of them. Identical was by far the best book i have ever read in my life. it was very deep and very intense. it actually gave me goose bumps and made me cry at the end. the person narrarating these books sounds all wrong.. like. i dont even know what. but its bad. please DO NOT waste your money on the audiobooks, its so much better to just read them if you already havent. they are amazing and the audiobooks do not do them justice.
A moving tale of two sisters intertwined with good and evil
Kaeleigh has a secret: She is sexually abused by her father. Raeanne has a secret: She's doing drugs, alcohol, and guys. They're both slowly dying, and it's not long before one of them has to step up and save the other. This book has an amazing twist ending, and if you do not cry while reading it, you are heartless.
