After his grandmother’s death, John Caldwell appreciates the sweet letters and cookie care packages her friend “Aunt Bee” sends during his tour of duty in Iraq. When he returns home, he decides to visit the elderly lady and thank her in person. “Aunt Bee” is no spinster in sensible shoes, however. She’s young, smart, kind, luscious Pheobe Hunnicut, and when John meets her face to face, her delicious cookies aren’t the only things he wants to sample.

Great story....well read.

Letters from home

Great story! Loved this story!Anyone know of any other $2.95 great reads except one night in Memphis it shuts off half way through!

Nice story, didn

Story was good, enjoyed it. But I didn't care the narration - some of the accents, the pace of the speaking, and sometimes it seemed like she was talking to a child - even when she wasn't.
