When an unexpected inheritance elevates her family to the ranks of the aristocracy, Amelia Hathaway discovers that tending to her younger sisters and wayward brother was easy compared to navigating the intricacies of the ton. Even more challenging: the attraction she feels for the tall, dark, and dangerously handsome Cam Rohan. Wealthy beyond most men's dreams, Cam has tired of society's petty restrictions and longs to return to his "uncivilized" Gypsy roots. When the delectable Amelia appeals to him for help, he intends to offer only friendship - but intentions are no match for the desire that blindsides them both. But can a man who spurns tradition be tempted into that most time-honored arrangement: marriage? Life in London society is about to get a whole lot hotter....
Mine Till Midnight: The Hathaways
I loved the whole series of the Hathaways and I can not wait until the next book to come out..
Good story but little different ending from book?
Liked this story, but thought there was a different story line of hidden treasure in the house. Am I thinking of a different book? Any way this audiobook is a guilty pleasure. Hope to save up for the other.
Must be an abridged version even though it says it's not. In the ebook version there is a whole love triange with Amelia's former fiance Christopher Frost and a treasure hunt like it says in the reviews and on the Lisa Kleypas website. I would highly recommend reading the book- it clears up a lot of questions and fills in missing pieces of Amelia's past, her emotions and state of mind and why she's so scared to commit to Cam. When listening to the book for the first time, I felt like things were missing or incomplete and that the story wasn't quite making sense. I kept checking to see if I had accidentally bought the abridged version so I finally bought the ebook to check and the story is SOO much better and richer and makes so much more sense. In the following books in the series- there are references to Amelia and Christopher and the treasure and I was SO confused until I read the book! Kinda frustrating to not have all the pieces to the story, However- the audiobook is VERY enjoyable and stands on its own pretty well. LOVE the narrator and the entire Hathaway series.
