Started with a smile and kept getting better!
Susan Mallery's publisher was initially hesitant about a two-word phrase summarizing a humorous key plot point. Ever since reading that, I've been dying to know what that phrase was. There were so many funny parts of the story - from the opening line to the kitchen table, from feral cown to the twist taken in the lover's triangle. Trust me - the key phrase made me break out laughing!
As always, Susan Mallery delivers great characters that I care about. She also introduces new ones that I hope will be featured in future Fool's Gold books. Only His is filled with humor, inspiring smiles and laughter. It's a great way to end this trilogy...with giggles and hope for more!
Corny
This book is corny. I found myself rolling my eyes, annoyed at the characters. It's a predictable, corny romance. If that's what you're looking for, then buy it!
