The action begins six days after a series of explosions devastated Washington, D.C., targeting the National Counterterrorism Center and killing 185 people, including public officials and CIA employees. It was a bizarre act of extreme violence that called for extreme measures on the part of elite counterterrorism operative Mitch Rapp and his trusted team member, Mike Nash. Now that the initial shock of the catastrophe is over, key Washington officials are up in arms over whether to make friends or foes of the agents who stepped between the enemy's bullets and countless American lives regardless of the legal consequences. Not for the first time, Rapp finds himself in the frustrating position of having to illustrate the realities of national security to politicians whose view from the sidelines is inevitably obstructed.
This book is incredible!
I had never heard of Vince Flynn until I heard Rush Limbaugh mention his book on Rush's show. He said somthing about a certain chapter in the book and that Rush should light up a good cigar when he started reading the chapter because he would love it. I had no idea what I was in store for, Mitch Rapp is the best fictional character I've ever read or heard. If you love America and the people who really defend us and our country you will love this book. Since I downloaded this book a month ago, I have since listened to every book Vince has on here and they are all truly great!
Really loved this book
Kept me on the edge of my seat. I love the book and I love Armand Schult's reading/acting.
Pursuit of Honor
As always Vince Flynn does not disappoint and this is an excellent book, unfortunately once you have heard George Claudill narrate for Mitch Rapp and all of the associated characters with the story, no other reader can compare ...at least in the series not for me.
