Rainbow Six

by Tom Clancy

Open iTunes to Buy

Tom Clancy's "genius for big, compelling plots" and his "natural narrative gift" ( The New York Times Magazine) have established him as one of the preeminent storytellers of our time. In this most extraordinary novel, Rainbow Six, Clancy goes beyond anything he has done before. At its heart is John Clark, a master of secret operational missions, and newly named the head of an international task force dedicated to combating terrorism. Clark tries to figure out where a recent string of terrorist attacks is heading, but there is no way to predict the real threat: a group of terrorists like none the world has ever encountered, a group so extreme that their success could literally mean the end of life on this earth as we know it.

Customer Reviews

Never a dull moment. Clancy at his best.

Though I've been a fan of Tom Clancy's for quite some time now, I regret that I've only just recently managed to get both of the John Clark books (both in audiobook form). Where "Without Remorse" was a fantastic story, one I would easily give 4.5 starts to if the service would let me, Rainbox Six is the first audiobook I've listened to from beginning to end in one sitting. I'm not going to go into too many details about the story itself, it would be hard to without revealing spoilers unintentionally as the story has many surprises, but suffice to say this: Rainbow Six is about as close to an action movie for the brain than I have come across in the past 10 years. A fanatastic quick-paced story that fans will definitely enjoy.

What A Book.

I had borrowed this book from my friend because he and everyone else he knows who had read it said it was a great book. I had never been a big reader and usually only read when it was needed for a class. If you like mysteries, action, special ops forces or have read any other Clancy books this is the greatest. All I know is that its about 900 pages and for a person who previously dispised reading only took myself about a month to read with my job and school. Well worth the cost.

An all round good story

This book is great, if you like military, mystery books this is a must have.
