The Ricky Gervais Guide to... THE ENGLISH. In celebration of St. George's Day, this last episode in the present series focuses on The English - their culture, history, and how they are perceived internationally. Join Ricky Gervais, Steve Merchant, and Karl Pilkington as they take tea, maintain a stiff upper lip and generally comport themselves as fine examples of the Bulldog Breed. In this episode: Karl harks back to halcyon days; Ritzy crackers; the archetypal Englishman; weddings; Karl on cafe culture; help the aged; Ricky's royal etiquette; dung beetles and dead badgers; fair play and the crossbow; dragon slaying and tongue-grabbing; Steve's spectacles; and Ricky reads a Brooke.
It's hilarious, but Steve could get contacts so he could fight and not break his glasses.
If they would record
a monthly, weekly, daily, or even hourly podcast, I would pay for it. I will happily spend all my extra money for anything they put out. I cannot get enough. Come back guys!
Karl Pilkington has a head like an orange
I have always wondered how I could find my niche in life, being talentless, lazy, miserable and uninformed. Karl you give the rest of us hope. I wish I was twelve again, riding my bike directionless chasing bees and scoring goals. Ah the good old days….. Karl has not just got a head like an orange but a mind like one also, pointless. Ricky and Steve are geniuses’ to be able to extract anything form that f….ing orange. Loved this one.
