This will overwhelm your soul and consume your thoughts with the wonderful wrath and majesty of God- a beautiful and accurate teaching of God's word!

Tonic too strong for insipid seekers

That one of the greatest thinkers in American history (Father of the First Great Awakening, one time President of Princeton, author of Religious Affections, a center at Yale University dedicated to him ) could be so lightly dismissed by contemporary listeners says more about the sorry state of American Christianity than just about anything I could imagine. Simply one of the greatest sermons in Christian history. Too bad folks don't "get it".

Fear is part of the package

"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow his precepts have good understanding. To him belongs eternal praise." - Psalm 111:10 "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline." - Prov 1:7 "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding." - Prov 9:10
