Warning: highly addictive
The Guide to Philosophy is hilarious (I think the final exchange between Ricky and Karl sums up why this series is so great). This may be my favorite of the Guides so far (although it is very hard to choose) -- for its repeated heights of absurdity, Stephen's attempts to get Ricky to stop interrupting Karl, and the revelation about Brett.... For the sake of the addicts out there like me, please, please keep these coming!
P.S. I am almost 40, have a PhD. (not in philosophy but in a related field), and I believe academia would be a better place if these were required listening....

No need to sample. The chemistry of these three blokes is brilliant! Karl is simply an anomoly of human kind, with poetic existential ideas of how things should be. Ricky is the undeniable realist, grounded in the facts. Finally, Steve carries a motherly mediation between the two, with much knowledge and life experience to supplement both. I can listen to the whole catalog over and over again. Broadcasting GOLD!
I absolutely adore these podcasts and listen to them over and over. It was especially hilarious to hear Karl crack up for the first time with Ricky cackling away in the background. LOVE IT!
