Maggie Winthrop doesn't believe in time travel any more than she believes in comic-book heroes or the tooth fairy. So when the naked man appears in her backyard, saying he's come from the future to prevent a global catastrophe, Maggie doesn't buy it - despite the spark of attraction between them. But when the handsome stranger accurately predicts things no one could possibly guess, Maggie starts to doubt everything she knows to be true. Suddenly, the pair is thrown into a desperate battle to ward off a future filled with disaster, and second chances for true love come at a very steep price.
Great Time Travel Story!
Five stars for Suzanne Brockmann. I am a big fan of time travel stories and of Suzanne Brockmann books. This is a great combination of both. I recommend it for all fans.
I am a sci fi fan, so waas drawn to the idea of a time-travel romance, especially by an author that I already like her writing style. Unfortunately, I couldn't have been more dissappointed. Now I know how non-sci-fi fans feel when they say that time travel stories are ridiculous. To top off the very weak story, and not particularly likable 'heros', they are being chased by an evil, covert government organization called "Wizard 9". I have listened to hundreds of sci-fi novels, both good and bad, and have never been particularly struck by how RIDICULOUS a name sounded until I heard that one. There's not even any backstory to explain how they came to be known by such a stupid name. There is a REASON that this book is quite inexpensive!! Save your money and look elsewhere.
Joyce Bean did an incredible job with narration. I enjoyed the time travel storyline. I listened to this audiobook several times.
