This book had a lot of surprises and some real tense moments. The characters of Brenda and Alister are a great match. Just keep an eye out for kitty.

Entertaining with sassy inner monologues

I was not quite sure what I was going to think of the next installment of this series, and I think I was pleasantly surprised. Willow with her sass and quirky attitude quickly had me entertained. I couldn’t wait to hear what quip she would use next against the sexy Alistair. I can not count how many times I found her inner monologue to be utterly fantastic.
“It totally made a girl want to run up to the most uptight wizard in a robe and lick his cheek while yelling, “Human cooties!”
There were several twists and turns in this book that kept me reading more. It was genuinely an easy and enjoyable read. It does not have you on the edge of your seat with the plot, but I do think the plot was interesting and had enough unique charm that it would not be classified as a cookie cutter romance.
This book has a happily ever after with no cliffhangers. It is a part of a series, but I think you can probably pick this book up without having read the others. Be warned this is an open door romance, meaning you get to read all the juicy f*uck details, if you do not want that then I suggest another author. This book does not contain a Ménage for those of you who are wondering.

Willow is hilarious. I laughed so much during this book.
Wizards look down on witches. They say that because of the human aspect of their DNA, they aren’t good enough. Willow is one such witch that wants those wizards to get over themselves so they can work on this particular case. Demons killing and eating witches. When they push her to the side, a man named Alistair decides to help her. He is hotter than the Arizona desert in July.
Can he help her solve the case or will his smile melt her into a puddle of goo.
