This book can be downloaded and read in iBooks on your Mac or iOS device.
The tiny village of Hemshawe is the sort of place where nothing ever happens...until a handsome ex-soldier and his matchmaking sister let the imposing manor house at the edge of town. The friendly Londoners shake up the staid people of Hemshawe, and villagers see each other in a new and oh-so-appealing light.
Suddenly long-sparring enemies become lovers, a town festival heralds a new start for a fallen woman and a dandy, and a man who has given up on love gets a second chance with the woman he never forgot. And the matchmaker herself? She won't rest until she finds her own happily-ever-after...

The Season for Loving by Vanessa Kelly
Miss Georgie Gage, matchmaker extraordinaire, is resigned to life as a spinster--almost. When notoriously aloof bachelor Fergus Haddon arrives from Scotland to spend Christmas with the Gage family, Georgie thinks she's finally found her own perfect match--if, that is, she can get the handsome Highlander to agree!
This was a really good anthology and I highly recommend it!
A MADNESS IN SPRING
I loved this enemy's to lovers short story. It had everything needed to be a fully told story. I did not fell I missed out on anything. It was well told with enough background that you understood why they were frienamy's and why they thought they hated each other. This is my first book by Kate Noble and it won't be my last.
THE SUMMER OF WINE AND SCANDAL
I love, love, Loved this story! Lockley and Caroline are such great characters. They both have scandals to overcome but as we know in the regency area the women have a much bigger hurtle to get passed. Society has turned their back on her will Lockley do the same?
THOSE AUTUMN NIGHTS
This was a very good second chance a love short story. A long with the other stories in the anthology there isn't anything missing from the story, everything is there from backstory to present. Bertie and Eliza were young, foolish and in love, but not brave enough to fight for what they wanted. Now ten years later they begin to see what could still be ahead of them.
THE SEASON FOR LOVING
This was the best of the four short stories. I may be bias because I've read the book that Fergus was introduced in and I'm thrilled that he's found his HEA. Georgie is the perfect heroine for Fergus. She's sweet, understanding and with a strong backbone and a very forgiving nature. She shows Fergus that just like her he also deserves happiness.
