A Holiday Yarn

Book 4, Seaside Knitters Mystery - A Seaside Knitters Mystery

This book can be downloaded and read in Apple Books on your Mac or iOS device.

Holiday time is magical in Sea Harbor, as the Seaside Knitters turn winter yarns of deep reds, greens, and golds into gifts. But when murder comes to this small New England town, they must set aside their needles to pursue justice—and restore joy to the season.
In Sea Harbor the scent of snow fills the salty air, and at Izzy’s Seaside Yarn Studio, the Knitters feast on cookies, knit their gifts, and plan their holiday gatherings. Across town, Mary Pisano is sparing no expense to transform the estate she inherited from her grandfather into a bed-and-breakfast. When the Pisano family gathers for their annual meeting, Mary offers to put up her cousins in the refurbished family home, hoping to dispel any ill will over her inheriting the estate. But hard feelings are likely the cause when Mary’s cousin Pamela is found dead on the B and B’s snowy back porch.
While the Seaside Knitters begin unraveling the case, Izzy Chambers is knitting her brow over her own mystery—the mystery of love. As the holiday draws nigh, the four friends will need all their crafty know-how to solve the crime and restore holiday peace—and the magic of mistletoe—to Sea Harbor.

From Publishers Weekly

Oct 18, 2010 – Death puts a damper on the Christmas festivities in Goldenbaum's engrossing fourth cozy featuring Izzy Chambers and the other members of her Sea Harbor, Mass., knitting circle (after April 2010's Moon Spinners). When "controversial fashion editor" Pamela Pisano turns up dead with a pistol in her hand on the snow-covered back porch of the Pisano family estate, Ravenswood-by-the-Sea, it appears a clear case of suicide. Particularly distraught is Mary Pisano, Pamela's cousin, who recently inherited Ravenswood and is in the process of converting the house into a bed-and-breakfast. When a painter Mary hired falls to his death off a ladder onto some granite rocks, this accident is more than a little suspicious. Of course, a killer is at work, and the knitters must tap old memories and old police records before they can bring the mystery to its unexpected conclusion.

A Holiday Yarn

A Holiday Yarn is one of the most wonderful stories I've ever read. The people are amazing. The relationships and friendships are strong, deep and loving. I plan to read more of the books in this series.

A Holiday Yarn

An entertaining holiday read. Nice craft touches for giving.
