Description

Surprised into hiding in a men's room stall at work, Angie Peterson, owner of the Dunk and Run Coffee Shoppe, overhears two men talking about killing someone named Alastair Honeybun. Picturing a frail, helpless old Englishman, Angie rushes to warn him. There’s only one, small problem, Alastair Honeybun is six foot two inches of yummy man, who's perfectly capable of taking care of himself. But when the thugs show up while Angie's still there, they soon figure out they'll need to take care of each other.

Too slow

Loved Jaws and the lil old lady "cab driver". The rest, not so much. The phonetically written dialogue was cute the first time (Alastair with a cold) but got annoying the second time (thug with a busted nose). I stopped reading at this point. Sorry, Jaws, not even your cuteness could change my mind from click-clicking the home button of my iPad and swiping out.

The deep connection, passion, and chemistry between Alastair and Angie is inspiring

Alastair Honeybun!!!!! Angie finds herself in a world of danger after attempting to be a Good Samaritan. She find herself deep into the world of the Honeybun brothers. She is accepted quickly into their "clan" because she saved Alastair. I really enjoyed this first adventure with the Honeybun clan. The dynamic between the brothers is comical and endearing. Angie is engulfed in the family and wouldn't change a thing. The deep connection, passion, and chemistry between Alastair and Angie is inspiring. I look forward to reading more from the Honeybun family!
