This is a pastiche, not a pistachio: there’s a mélange of music, a potpourri of paintings, a welter of words, a variety of videos, and a cornucopia of crazy stuff!

This book of tribute allows you to literally, virtually and symbolically touch John Lennon. Through music, words and art. As John so wisely and presciently penned, “Love is touch, touch is love.”

Contributors include author Judith Furedi, Lennon confidante May Pang, producer and promoter Sid Bernstein, Mad Magazine artist Tom Richmond, fine artist, restauranteur and toy designer Kevin Stark, Lennon roadie Ed Kleinman, and a plethora of other fans and friends of John Lennon.

Customer Reviews

Insightful and touching revelation and review of Lennon's personal impact.

We all know how much great art and artists have an effect on humanity--both in macro-societal terms where great art fuels emotion and imagination as well as personally--where each individual person's life is enhanced and altered by the encounters and integrating of the art and artist into one's life experience.

Seldom, if ever, has any publication touched so effectively and elegantly as this in conveying those impacts and effects--both in the individual sense but also in a community sense. This ingenious and touching publication provides the wonderful experience and effect of doing so! Kudos to the the author and publisher and all those involved and contributing. John would have been proud and touched!

Well worth it!

With 14 songs, a ton of videos and some really fun audio files - not to mention art, photos and stories, this tribute to John Lennon is very enhanced. A great way to explore and discover artists who have all been inspired by John. Very fun stuff!!!

John Lennon's music always inspires me. The fans who contributed songs, poetry and art in this rich compendium created some very inspirational pieces, too! I've discovered a whole new crop of artists and songwriters who I'll be following now. That people can be so moved by John and his simple messages of peace and love is both precious and thrilling, given the shape of our world today. Even the poetry had an amazing range -- and I don't typically read poems. There are heartfelt words and just silly stuff, reminiscent of John's own word games he wrote in "In His Own Write" and "A Spaniard in the Works." Overall, this enhanced eBook is great fun and thoughtfully put together. I enjoyed the music and art the most. Well worth it, beginning to end.
