A Little Too Much
Book 2, A Little Too Far
This book can be downloaded and read in iBooks on your Mac or iOS device.
In the follow-up to Lisa Desrochers' explosive new adult novel A Little Too Far, Alessandro Moretti must face the life he escaped and the girl he left behind.
Twenty-two-year-old Hilary McIntyre would like nothing more than to forget her past. As a teenager abandoned to the system, she faced some pretty dark times. But now that's all behind her. Hilary has her life on track, and there's no way she'll head down that road again.
Until Alessandro Moretti—the one person who can make her remember—shows up on her doorstep. He's even more devastatingly gorgeous than before, and he's much too close for comfort. Worse, he sees right through the walls she's built over these last eight years, right into her heart and the secrets she's guarding.
As Hilary finds herself falling back in love with the man who, as a boy, both saved and destroyed her, she must decide: Past or future? Truth or lies?
The second I finished reading A Little Too Far, I was itching for Alessandro's story. If possible, I love him even more now than I did before. Lisa Desrochers dug deep into this character and into her very complex heroine Hilary. I cried and I sighed... And now I think I'll read it again!
This sequel did not disappoint!!!
I fell in love with Alessandro in A Little Too Far and now I love him even more! He is such a broken soul and the only person that can save him is the person he feels he hurt the most. Hilary has been dealt some pretty crappy cards in her life. Love has only appeared once in her life and she never thought she would feel it again. Who would have thought the one she loved all those years ago would come back in her life when she needed him most?
There are buried secrets they have kept from one another and they are finally revealed. My heart was all over the place when I found out as a reader!
This book shows that sometimes your first love is your one true love. Great read!!
I loved Lisa's first new adult book and I was hoping this one would be just as good. But it was even better. Hilary is a great character and I absolutely love Alessandro.
