Best yet book I've found!
I have kept a writer's notebook for 2 years now and i love it. I have seriously failed at keeping a journal, but this is SO easy. I have noticed a big improvement in my writing, and i enjoyed rereading this book. From a teen writer: double thumbs up!
A Writer's Notebook
This is a gold mine of ideas for implementing the writing notebook concept in the classroom setting. Kid friendly ideas are shared in each chapter. As a writing teacher working with elementary kids, this was one of the anchor books I used to help kids become real writers! Can't recommend this book enough! Warning: if you are a worksheet loving teacher, this book is definitely not for you. This encourages kids to actually develop writing skills. Actually, adults, myself included, have gained a great deal of insight from this book as well!
