Alpha Squad: Boot Camp

#1, Alpha Squad

This book can be downloaded and read in iBooks on your Mac or iOS device.

Description

She’s his superior officer, he’s just a lowly recruit...
Does love conquer rank?

When bear shifter Eric joins the newly formed Alpha Squad, a joint human/shifter taskforce, he fears it’s all just a waste of time. It’s all the work of a politician trying to make a name for himself; Eric is sure of it. That is until he meets his training officer; Major Janine Williams...

The squad may just be a farce, but her presence alone is enough to keep him on base and on task. For her, he’ll give the squad a real shot. If only the feeling was mutual...

Janine did not want to be the one to lead Alpha Squad; neither did any of her male colleagues. When the on-base general orders her to let the squad fail during boot camp training itself, her worst fears are confirmed.

Worse still, she can’t stop thinking about one of her recruits. Dating someone under her command is the last thing she needs.

Alpha Squad’s future hangs in the balance; as does Janine’s hard-fought military career. Boot camp has only just begun...

Join Alpha Squad in this steamy paranormal romance you won’t want to put down. If you like Alpha City by Bryce Evans or Bear Patrol by Scarlett Grove, then you will love the Alpha Squad Series by Lorelei Moone!

Must read

Loved it. Love the series

A bit of action with a touch of spice

If you read the previous series by this author then you will know where some of the characters in this book come from. The shifters came out and now they are building a Alpha Squad to help ease fears and to keep the peace. The problem is not all are on-board or honest in this endeavor.

Eric and his brother Adam are all in and head out to join this squad but Eric is not prepared for what happens.
His Major is none other than a woman he has thought about since seeing her in a restaurant. Now what is he to do? Janine is she human? Well she can all of a sudden hear Eric' thoughts.

If you love shifters and a bit of action with a touch of spice then pick up this book. It can be read as a stand-alone as it's a first in a new series. I really enjoyed it and can't wait for the next one.

Finding one's true mate was never so sweet!

This was my first book by this author, and I was immediately hooked on her writing style. I love bear-shifter stories, and this one quickly became one of my favorites. Eric and Janine have chemistry in spades, and their instant "true mate" connection was beautifully written. It's a tough assignment to have a strong male character retain his alpha leadership status when his mate not only outranks him but is his boss, but Ms. Moone pulls it off effortlessly. Eric is downright swoon-worthy, and his determined pursuit of Janine once he realizes she's his mate was so much fun to read. My goal now is to read everything in this series, then everything else by this author. It's that good. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
