Always Room for Cupcakes
This book can be downloaded and read in iBooks on your Mac or iOS device.
One day I was be-bopping along jamming to the music in my head while wondering if my thighs could handle grabbing a cupcake on the way home. The next thing I knew, my entire world crashed and burned.
I used to wake up at night in a sweat, crying because I’d dreamt that my husband was cheating on me, or that he hated me, and resented my kids. He’d always hold me close and tell me it was all just a dream, that he loved me and our family and that he’d never let me go.
He was a f*****g liar.
Now I spend my days taking photos of scum just like him, trying to be a champion for other's being taken advantage of by the losers in our town, and my nights being a single mom to my beautiful twins.
I've got great friends who have my back, and a sexy, mysterious motorcycle man who keeps showing up when I need him. Maybe things are starting to look up, and one thing's for sure... There's always room for cupcakes.
WARNING: THIS BOOK CONTAINS FOUL LANGUAGE, SEX, SOME VIOLENCE, AND SHENANIGANS. IF NONE OF THAT BOTHERS YOU, GRAB A CUPCAKE AND READ ON!

Always Room for Cupcakes
Enthralling, Funny, and Sexy Read
When I read the sample for this book I was enthralled and knew I had to pre-order it. I was on my way to bed when I saw it had downloaded. I immediately dived in and started reading this book.
I was 8 chapters in and the first date had just concluded and I was tired and contemplated sleep but I got drawn back in. The chemistry between Lilia and Cade is powerful. Cade drips off the pages. I had to have more.
I laughed many times while reading this book. Ms. Lopez does a great job of bringing each character to life, even the ones who are only in the book for a short amount of time. She even had me saying, "f*ck me" a few times in one short time frame. But no more on that as it would be a spoiler. Oh, and let's not forget the super awkward moment that lands Lelia in the closet.
This book has left me with the need to read more of Ms. Lopez's books. This was the first book I have read by this author.
This Book Is Laugh-Out-Loud Funny
After finding her ex in a compromising situation, formerly happy and unsuspecting wife and mother, Lila Horton, is using her expert cheater-finding senses as an Investigative Photographer, meaning she works with a local PI, snapping pictures of cheaters. Yes, it's different, but it works for her. When the case she's working on turns into something more, and a hot guy on a motorcycle rides in to save the day, and everything around her is going crazy, Lila knows that the most important thing remains: no matter what else is going on, there is always room for cupcakes.
I thoroughly enjoyed this read by Bethany Lopez. Part romance, part suspense, part MC book, Bethany has written a story that is, by turn, page-turning excitement, steamy hotness, and laugh-out-loud hilarious. To be living in such a small town, Lila encounters a vast array of cheaters and criminals, and they make for some interesting moments. Added to her daily shenanigans, being mother to her 10-year-old twins, a hot new relationship with a sexy and mysterious biker dude, and girls' nights out with her besties keep Lila hopping, and make for a really fun read. I highly recommend ALWAYS ROOM FOR CUPCAKES, and give it an easy 4 stars. Check this one out; you'll be glad you did.
Quick, quirky read
Always Room for Cupcakes is fast-paced and engaging, and the book can easily be finished in one sitting. Bethany Lopez has a gift for comedy, as the story was quite funny in parts. The characters were quirky and likable, and it's always nice to see a group of strong, assertive women at the forefront of a story. I'm not necessarily sure I fully believed the romance between Cade and Lila or that the relationship was ever even fully actualized. It somewhat bothered me that there was an agreement to take things slow, yet on date #2, they're ripping each other's clothes off approximately 5 seconds after walking in the house -- what happened to slowing things down? Hell, what happened to at least eating dinner? Besides, the slightly unrealistic development of the relationship between the main characters, there was some repetitive wording and slightly awkward phrasing that bugged me, but overall, Always Room for Cupcakes is an enjoyable read, that I would recommend to anyone.
