Description

Laney Hill is screwed. On the bed. On the treadmill. On the hood of a BMW. And on her boss’s desk. Then she’s screwed again when she steps into the free clinic and finds out she has gonorrhea. That dirty prick gave her gonorrhea! She’s totally going to break up with him...until he breaks up with her...because he’s married!

A spur of the moment date with her hot musician neighbor, Kade Masters, goes from smoking hot to red-hot disaster in two seconds flat. Then, a night out drinking with friends leads to a fateful--yet awkwardly-sloppy--kiss between her and her best friend George Bratton.

Laney is ready to go into hibernation-mode, when George receives an invitation to his ex-girlfriend's destination wedding in London. Self-destructive George and gonorrhea survivor Laney make a deal to go as each other’s dates. It will make great material for Laney’s “Anti-Romance” blog and maybe it will help George finally get over his ex.

Pushing aside thoughts of Kade, and his "big engine that could", Laney jumps at the chance to escape to the magical land of the royal family. But her magical vacation soon turns into a royal, steaming pile of lies.

Pulled in from the start!

Why can't there be no more stars?!?! This is like 6 at least!

Hooked by chapter one.

Laney does not believe in true love. She proves to herself by dating a series of guys who never work out. They always leave her with proof that romance does not exist.

How does Cassia always leave me wanting more? More Laney please now? I so could have been her after college. I can't wait to get the second half of Anti-Romance!

Anti romance

I love books by Cassia Leo. They leave you wanting to read more. Can't wait for the next book in this series.

Good golly Miss Laney you are in a predicament.

Laney was dating a political aide who was married. Laney went to a free clinic where she found out Rick gave her gonorrhea. Laney was going to quit the campaign when Rick fired her. Laney dated unavailable men to prove romance was dead. Once she broke up with Rick she planned on writing about him on her blog. The blog was suppose to be anonymous.
While Laney was conducting research on the hood of Rick's BMW Kade was waiting in his truck for them to finish so he could go to his apartment. Laney and Kade are neighbors. Kade is a musician. He invites Laney to his show. Kade becomes another conquest for Laney yet not for her blog.
George is Laney's best friend. Laney seeks comfort from George and confides with George about the men she dated. George needs Laney to attend a wedding in London for his ex.
Laney is in quite the predicament between her break up with a married man, having sex with her neighbor and kissing her best friend. Laney is suppose to be the expert in anti-romance yet she found herself in a web of confusion.
The story has you thinking this is a story about anti-romance when in reality it's about Laney searching for Mr. Perfect in the most unconventional ways. Laney's mother is not the perfect role model for Laney to learn about men so her idea for dating unavailable men and blogging about another prospect gone wrong leads Laney down a path of bribery, jealousy, and deceitfulness.
WARNING: this is part of a series with a cliffhanger ending leaving Laney in London with two men and a runaway bride.
