In the wake of her father's death, Ash is left at the mercy of her cruel stepmother. Consumed with grief, her only joy comes by the light of the dying hearth fire, rereading the fairy tales her mother once told her. In her dreams, someday the fairies will steal her away, as they are said to do. When she meets the dark and dangerous fairy Sidhean, she believes that her wish may be granted.
The day that Ash meets Kaisa, the King's Huntress, her heart begins to change. Instead of chasing fairies, Ash learns to hunt with Kaisa. Though their friendship is as delicate as a new bloom, it reawakens Ash's capacity for love-and her desire to live. But Sidhean has already claimed Ash for his own, and she must make a choice between fairy tale dreams and true love.
Entrancing, empowering, and romantic, Ash is about the connection between life and love, and solitude and death, where transformation can come from even the deepest grief.

Ash, excellent but could be more
I loved almost everything about this story. I love the twist on the classic fairy tale, how we see fairy society in a few glimpses. I love the fact that it was a lesbian romance, I thought it was well done. But I wanted more, the story ended too soon and wanted to see more of after happily ever after. But i suppose that's a good thing, to leave us wanting more. So well done, and five us more.
Ash is a great story
i love the story line and the way the author warps all the fairy tales into something new and exciting. the book keeps you entertained all the way to the end. You'll find yourself hoping that the characters can all have a happy ending escpecially ash.
Amazed, great read
Only criticism is that it ended abruptly, I loved that it was a Cinderella story that strayed from the typical path. Her love for The huntress was beautiful in its own way because you didn't realize it was happening almost until Ash did. I highly recommend
