Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin
This book can be downloaded and read in Apple Books on your Mac or iOS device.
Franklin wrote his autobiography in the form of an extended letter to his son. While recording the events of his life, he adds instructions for good living which makes this work America’s first “How to Succeed” book.
We never learn
Read this, all the politics we struggle with today are the same that Franklin faced.
Boring and hard to read!
I had to read this book for an AP U.S. history course during the summer and although it may be an interesting point of view since Franklin wrote it, I found it dry and hard to focus on since it was written so long ago. I was hoping it would be more interesting.
This is a great book for people who want to start scratching at the surface of our history, and to learn more about a great American who helped shape America and the world.
