At least it is, until she falls for the guy. Will love trump betrayal when the truth comes out?
New York City meets smalltown Georgia head-on in Bond s third Southern Roads contemporary (after Baby, Drive South and Baby, Come Home). Manhattanite Alicia Randall assumes the alias Alicia Waters when she invades the aw-shucks mountaintop town of Sweetness to gather material for her column in Feminine Power magazine. She s certain there is something sinister about a town run by three brothers who have advertised for women interested in making a fresh start. The ad made perfect sense to two of the Armstrong brothers, who figured the women could help rebuild and repopulate tornado-leveled Sweetness. Eldest brother Marcus is still skeptical until he lays eyes on Alicia. Motivated by a chance to syndicate her blog, Alicia is determined to bed the recalcitrant Marcus and expose Sweetness s dirtiest secrets... except there aren t any. Bond fans will take to the homespun romantic charm of this diverting series finale.
