Wonderful and weird
Ok, I started out fanatical over Batwing. The story, suit and art from page to page was wonderful. I had purchased individual comics and not the full volume. Then as I started collecting I soon realized that i was lucky in the beginning and suddenly became unlucky. To be nice, Batwing is a unique idea and in all honesty very cool! The character has a great back story but now a part a Batman incorporated and also has the big man himself to stand up to. Batman gave him his suit in issue 0. The suit looks cool and the idea of him being Africa's Batman is totally awesome! Another unique concept is although not early on but half way through the villains get really cool. Lion-Man for example is an awesome issue! But Batwing also has its weaker points. Sometimes it tackles gruesome or vulgar situations on the glorifying side rather than the frowning upon perspective. In the end id like to see more. Good job DC but please make it more family friendly and less blood, gore and death.
