Customer Reviews

A window into Early watchmaking.

This is awesome! This book portrays a early view on watchmaking, most likely from 18th Century England. It begins with a parts census from a full plate watch, going into specific detail of the parts of a chain. In our time, we don't even remember watches had a chain. Reading it allowed me to better understand early watchmaking, and how my predecessors lived and worked! Intriguing!
