This is the first time iBooks Author has been used for this kind of longform journalism in Canada.

Topics is the 2012 edition include the Arab Spring, Canadian Politics, International Politics, Indigenous Issues, Feminism, Environment, #Occupy, and highlights from rabble.ca's 10th anniversary series "A Progressive Dialogue for the future of Canada", edited by Murray Dobbin.

The ebook was created by online journalism students at the University of Western Ontario: Matt Dusenbury, Devon Murphy, Karl New, Lisa Laventure, Jacob Kuehn, Liz Bernier, Patrick Callan, Aaron Rathbone and Marlene Leung.
