Brief Tale

As a short story, I think this one tried to cover too much time. It is the tale of a wild elf archer who fights a war with trolls, falls in love, is arrested as a thief, loses his love tragically in war and returns to his ancestral home, all in under 30 pages. The was little dialogue and it seemed very stilted.
