Raising an autistic five-year-old alone, Stafford can’t refuse the lucrative offer. The job is supposed to last two weeks, tops. But soon he’s facing threats and intimidation, and more people are dying. Stafford must fight for his life—while struggling to save his son from a different kind of danger…

I never understood the human side of trading in the market. I am still not sure of the whole process, but I get the people now. The story was extremely well written. Taking a workaholic market whiz-turned criminal and molding him into a loving, devoted father was no easy task. As the parent of two children on the Autism Spectrum and the spouse of one as well, I can truly empathize with what he was going through. The emotion was amazingly accurate as well as the progress the child could make with the right therapy. Little behavioral quirks in Justin, Sr. made it quite obvious he may have struggled with some minor Asperger traits himself.
The descriptions provided wonderful images of what was going on, the smells, the visual, and the emotional torture. I look forward to reading more from this author.
Loved this book
I don't usually write reviews but I really liked this book. I would love to read part 2 to find out what happens next. Is there a part 2?
This is my first ever review. I had to tell everyone that this book is a must read! Understood very little of trading but explained exceptionally well by writer. It's also about sacrifice for himself and learned devotion of his child. Can't wait for the next book!
