Publisher Description

Sean Bond has been in the information technology field for more than 30 years and has been published in a number of information technology magazines and trade journals covering the topics of Corporate Development Strategies, Client Sever implementation, and Multi-platform Design and Development issues. He has consulted to several Fortune 500 companies; including American Airlines, Lockheed Martin, and Anthem Blue Cross, and he has won design awards for computer applications that he has architected. During the months leading up to the 2008 election, he entered the foray of political blogging when he got involved on the CNN iReports platform. In the short span of 3 months, he quickly moved to be one of the top iReporters, where he was credited in helping people form a sounder voting position and contributed to the overall victory for Barack Obama in 2008. Since his time on CNN and postelection, he has developed his own political blog sites and is a frequent poster on Twitter.

It has been said that "A Picture is worth a 1,000 words..."Perhaps this is true, but here are my views specific to this book... "Most Pictures fade with Time, But A Few Well Written or Spoken Words are Timeless." The Declaration of Independence is the definitive example of that fact. Yet, we have not quite reached a point in our lives where we can project a picture at an instant, and quite frankly, we cannot carry around pictures of every life changing event in our lives.

Blogger 4 Obama is about the many words that surrounded us during the 2008 campaign for the White House. I stumbled onto iReports.com on CNN almost immediately following the announcement of Sara Palin as John McCain's Running Mate, as I wanted to see what everyday people were saying about this alarming decision. Being an Independent, I wanted to hear both sides of the coin.

It certainly did not take long at all to make a decision as to what side to take. It was primarily driven by the negative, crude, racist and vile trash talking by the Radical Right Wing Republicans on that site. I think it was the continual lies about Barack Obama that drove me to produce the number of posts that I did, as I felt that people were out there seeking information to make an informed decision come that November in 2008.
