Bullet Proof Kids

Young Daniel was able to graduate high school a year early.  He was so excited to finally be done with school.  He was ready to get out and see the world, get a job and be on his own.  He worked hard only to get knocked back again and again. The economy was bad and there  wasn't any good jobs for inexperienced youth.  He found the world wasn't as rewarding as he had hoped it would be.

On a crazy teenage party night of events Daniel and his friends were involved in a tragic auto accident and paid the ultimate sacrifice.  This book is about a crazy and wild night of teenage partying. It's the invincible behavior that comes along with teenage drinking and driving that can have a tragic outcome when just one domino falls out of place.

It's about a father's rage and inner pain with the loss of his son, his young hero which nearly drives him insane.  Finally it's about a community that is brought together by the random acts of kindness from strangers in a small town.

These tragic events that I witnessed have inspired me to put these recent events into words. To build a platform and a voice for these kids and others like them.
