Compilation of Undergraduate Teacher Education Technology Tips

Publisher Description

The CUTE project is completed each semester by undergraduates at Nicholls State University in Southern Louisiana.  Students entering student teaching were often frustrated by their lack of technology instruction in their senior year of coursework.  Often times it was reported that students do not remember the necessary technology taught in the Sophomore level course when finally able to implement it into the classroom.  Therefore, the CUTE project was born.  As a culminating product to EDUC 251: Technology Integration for Teachers, each group of students created a chapter on one topic discussed during the semester.  The chapter was required to include a screencast, written instructions, and lesson ideas and products for the topic chosen.  These chapters were put together to create this ebook.  It is the hope of the Professor that this product will be used by previous students, future students, and classroom teachers as cutting edge examples of educational technology best practices.  Each semester, a new version of the CUTE project will be published as an interactive resource for all future and current teachers wishing to successfully integrate technology.
