City of fae
This is an amazing read. Cliff hanging and unexpected twists and turns in a thrillingly woven read. If you love stories about fairy tales then you will love this new twist on them. I was lucky enough to be able to read this for free because I am a membership Pippa's elite reading team and give an honest review. This is a truly amazing read.
The London Undergound will never be the same
I received the ebook City Of Fae from Pippa Da Costa as a gift for a totally honest review.
I’ve just finished Pippa’s new book City of Fae. I can sum up my reading experience of this book in one word: WOW.
“Look, but don’t touch.
Touch, but don’t feel.
Feel, but never ever love.
~The Trinity Law Est 1974”
This story takes place in modern day London, and everyone in London knows the Trinity Law. But there are still those people who crave the touch and attention of the most desirable people in London. The Fae. In the early 70’s, they “came out”, and the human race has never been the same.
Alina O’Connor is a young American journalist who has just lost her job as an assistant at the Metro. Stepping off the London Underground, she sees what looks like a homeless man, barely alive but vaguely familiar. When she goes the man to ask him if he is alright or needs help, she’s shocked to see tri colored eyes – it IS who she thought it was. THE most famous Fae in London. Sovereign. And so begins the most unexpected adventure of her short life.
City of Fae is book one of Pippa DaCosta’s new story line. After reading the Beyond the Veil saga, I was honestly expecting a similar story line. My Bad. Pippa has brought an entire new cast of characters to life. Her descriptions of each player are so well written that I had no problem “seeing” each person. And if I ever visit London, I’m pretty sure I’ll never use their subway system-and don’t get me started on their spiders!!
I give this book 5 stars (I’d give more if I could!) and HIGHLY recommend it. Pippa Da Costa is an amazing author and worthy of your attention.
Another great book from this author.
I have loved every book I have read from pippa, and this is no exception. She is great at building complex characters you can't help but love. I won't write anything to spoil the story, you'll need to read for yourself. You won't be sorry!
I received an arc in exchange for an honest review.
