Cognitive Set Theory

This book can be downloaded and read in Apple Books on your Mac or iOS device.

Cognitive Set Theory applies mereology and set theory to perception and thought. Using generic concepts such as part, whole, and reference, it explores the physical, perceptual, and conceptual universes.

This book appeals to an audience at the crossroads of psychology, linguistics, logic, mathematics, and philosophy.  It is accessible to anyone, and relies heavily on hierarchy and diagrams to illustrate key points.

Customer Reviews

Nice work!

Well, it took a long time to write... And yes, I am the author.

The editing is not the best, but the content is excellent. Skim the book, find the gems; if you have the patience, read it thoroughly. It's not for every reader, but some part of it will appeal to many.

In English Please!!!

Leaving out all this graphing and drawing and $20 words would make this book more comprehensive.
This appears to be nothing more a dissertation which should have been noted at the beginning if it is. Yes, I know it states “theory” in the title, but come on! A dissertation is a dissertation. I don’t know how this can help anyone wanting to improve themselves with better cognitive thinking.
