Conversations with God

An Uncommon Dialogue, Book 1

This book can be downloaded and read in iBooks on your Mac or iOS device.

Description

Conversations with God Book 1 began a series that has been changing millions of lives for more than ten years. Finally, the bestselling series is now a movie, starring Henry Czerny (The Pink Panther and Clear and Present Danger) and Ingrid Boulting (The Last Tycoon). Produced and directed by Stephen Simon (producer of Somewhere in Time and What Dreams May Come) and distributed by Samuel Goldwyn Films and Fox Home Entertainment, the theatrical release is set for October 27, 2006. The movie is the true account of Walsch (played by Cierny), who went from an unemployed homeless man to an "accidental spiritual messenger" and author of the bestselling book

From Publishers Weekly

Apr 28, 1997 – In this follow-up to the bestselling Conversations with God, Walsch presents yet another lengthy record of the opinions that God has confided in him alone. This second volume features a verbose deity who appears almost to be playing patient to Walsch's psychotherapist. These conversations present a very jocular God bantering and joshing with divine aplomb about sex, politics, economics, ecology and myriad other topics. Walsch remains "culturally correct" by bashing "organized religion" in general and Catholicism in particular. Typically, however, his religion-bashing is based on misrepresentations and simpleminded theology. One can only be shocked that God is so gullible as to take Walsch's intellectually lazy word for it.

Customer Reviews

No words can explain how wonderful this book is

This book is amazing. If people give this book a try, I promise that their lives will change. It is more than inspirational… It is truthful and very, very pleasant to read. It is a non-stop page turner that will fill your mind, body and should with warmth and love. Trust me… Give it a try!

Open your mind, open your heart

I first read this trilogy almost twenty years ago and it definitely had a huge impact in my life. Some, perhaps most of the concepts presented in the book may challenge your most cherished long-held beliefs about life and every core principle about yourself that you have - but this is a good thing. Or maybe your reaction will be much like mine; you will find that these books really resonate with your own truth.. and then you will spend the rest of your life trying to apply these principles and live them to a high degree, sometimes failing but always moving forward somehow. Reading the CwG books won't mean that your life will suddenly be all wonderful and filled with magic... or maybe it will; it's ultimately up to YOU, and these books can help you figure out how and why.

Thank you for saving my life

Ironically, this book was given to me by an ex boyfriend who I later left after this book opened my eyes. Thank you.
