This multi-touch interactive cookbook offers simple mouth-watering recipes with the help of its stunning and high quality photos. It includes a few of my vegetarian & non-vegetarian improvised recipes that can create delicious yet simple, budgeted yet priceless meals without needing any expensive kitchen equipment or skillful cooking experience. If you have not made anything more taxing than boiling an egg, don’t worry, you will find recipes in this book easier to follow.
I was on a budget, during my student years. I couldn’t afford to go to restaurants, eat fast food, or microwave meals on a regular basis. Hence, I embarked on a journey to put to test what I learnt from my Mom’s cooking while growing up. Through improvisation I learnt to create taste out of simple ingredients while using limited resources I had on my disposal. My friends and family enjoyed my food and their feedback helped me improve overtime.
I cook in a different but simple way and through this visually engaging cookbook I would like to share my cooking experiences with you. I encourage you to try these recipes and pleasantly surprise yourself.
Raita (Spicy Yoghurt), Chaaval (Plain Rice), Daal (Red Lentil Soup), Aaloo Unday (Egg Potato Curry), Bhindi (Fried Okra), Murgh Boti (Boneless Chicken), Aaloo Keema (Minced Beef Potato Curry), Murgh Karahi (Chicken Karahi), Kalaiji Masala (Fried Chicken Liver), Aaloo Gosht (Lamb Potato Curry)

Like it very much…..Quite easy to understand from ‘what we need’ to ‘how we make’.
Unlike traditional ways (read, read, read and then experiments), the detailed visuals of this book (look, read, look and then compare the good results) greatly assisted me trying these recipes.
Hoping the part 2 will also focus on some quick and easy to make desserts as well.
Quite practical, unique and excellent. The picture based recipe description makes the book unique among rest of cooking books. Just see, get the things, start cooking and be on your table with the dish. Very easy to use.
