Overwhelmed by a Relentless God

Revised & Updated Edition! God is love. Crazy, relentless, all-powerful love. Have you ever wondered if we're missing it?
It's crazy, if you think about it. The God of the universe—the Creator of nitrogen and pine needles, galaxies and E-minor—loves us with a radical, unconditional, self-sacrificing love. And what is our typical response? We go to church, sing songs, and try not to cuss. Whether you've verbalized it yet or not, we all know something's wrong.
Does something deep inside your heart long to break free from the status quo? Are you hungry for an authentic faith that addresses the problems of our world with tangible, even radical, solutions? God is calling you to a passionate love relationship with Himself. Because the answer to religious complacency isn't working harder at a list of do's and don'ts—it's falling in love with God. And once you encounter His love, as Francis describes it, you will never be the same. Because when you're wildly in love with someone, it changes everything.

I took this book with me on a cruise, along with "not a fan" by Kyle Idleman. Both extremely convicting books, however, what Chan does in this volume is he makes one stand back and be completely awed by the amazing beauty of our loving Creator. One of my favorite books, and I totally recommend to even the most mature Christian. Chan will bring you to tears with his wonderful illustrations, true stories of God's grace and will make you rethink your relationship with God. Don't waist anymore time before picking up this book!
Francis Chan's spiritual courage is amazing!! His love for Christ is pure and Crazy! He allows God to speak through him with no fear. May our God continue to bless you!
Don't worry I am with you. Don't be afraid for I am your God. I will make you strong and help you. I will support you with my right hand which brings victory.
It was an awesome book. Had to stop reading a few times to pray and aknowledge God. Changed my perspective on some things and helped me grow.
