’til death do us part.
Aric James Monaghan promised Jillian Knight Portland. With a heavy heart and a light bag, she travels to the West Coast for the man she loved. In a blink her worlds collide, holding her hostage to a past filled with lies, deceit, and revenge.
It all started with a boy and a girl—their tragic love story is shared through the eyes of the enemy.
Every word fades dreams and shatters memories as life slips away. Jillian needs a Knight, Jessica needs a miracle, and together they need a savior.

Knight and Day collided in this final book in the series.
Finally the moment we have all been waiting for when Knight and Day collide.
This story contains the perfect balance of mystery, romance, pain, and discovery. This is the finally book that sheds light on all the unanswered questions and even questions you never knew to ask.
This story unleashed a Pandora's box of secrets that left my mouth hanging open with shock.
This story gets you thinking about the many layers of love. It makes you ponder choices that carve other people's lives. Jewel is going to win your heart with her poetic words. I'm busting with excitement over the development of the story. I'm giddy with the direction Jewel has taken the story.
It's a merging of two separate identities finding the bond that unites them.
Jewel further developed many characters adding extra layers that help explain how they became woven into this predicament. The story includes Luke, Lake, Ryn, Knox, Cage, Jessica, and Jude. It's a well rounded story tying all the loose ends together by revisiting the past in order to bring understanding to the present. It's what we have been waiting for. Sure the story includes sex because sex is essential in any romantic relationship. Book 3 elaborates on Jackson and Ryn's relationship.
Book 3 shows how complex this story was layered. Jewel did an amazing job crafting these characters and tying it all together.
"Someday you’ll fall in love and it will brand your heart forever." Quote from Sunny. In the name of love we do the most unconventional things that others find appalling until they too discover the magic of what love can do. One person changed another persons outlook on love.
As a mother myself, this intro hit my heart hard with the reality of the words spoken. As a parent with children you carry a huge responsibility not only to yourself, to your spouse, but also your children. You are always thinking about their best interest and trying to set a great example. Always wondering am I doing the right thing? How is this going to affect them growing up? How will they perceive me?
The worse feeling in the world is to know you failed your children. Children put parents on a high pedestal of being seen as making no mistakes.
As for Jude, it breaks my heart to see him not understand the choices his mother made for herself and them. That saying,"a woman's work is never done", holds true in this reference. A woman who is a wife and a mother has too many jobs to juggle and not enough time to fulfill each. A mother wants to be an exceptional role model for her children and when one mistake sets the course for Jude's lifestyle Jessica may be the only woman he trusts to help sort it out.
"They’d been through the unimaginable and survived the un-survivable, but what he did broke a bond that should have been unbreakable." This Is a great quote because it signifies the importance of siblings bonding.
Love is in the air. The story is compiled with several mini episodes about characters falling in love. Two lovers started this whirlwind of circumstances. One door closed and two more opened. The characters in this story have blended well together.
I think it can even be considered a second chance romance.
There are not enough stars...
6 “contumacious" stars
I don't even know how to express how much I love this story! At times it absolutely destroyed me with a one-two punch to the gut. Other times I was swooning and falling in love with Luke. Then my heart was breaking right along with Jillian and AJ, before Jackson completely charmed my socks off!!
“This is where it all began. This is where you ruined me for every other woman. I think I loved you before I ever knew you because it’s never felt like a choice for me. It’s just something as certain as the change of the seasons, the tilt of the earth, the dawn welcoming a new day.”
Every mystery that I solved led me to another secret to uncover. Every time that I was lulled into believing this was a gorgeous romantic story things would turn dark and suspenseful! I was always on the edge of my seat waiting for the next bend in the road.
"Sometimes we weather the storm, mourn the casualties, and find the sun on the horizon has never been brighter. I’m blinded by mine, and I’m certain for the rest of my life it—she—will leave me breathless.”
I fell in love with the story, the characters, the words, the feelings and I didn't want it to ever end.
"There were never enough stars in the sky to count how many times a day he fell in love with her."
Phenomenal conclusion to an amazing series
I’ve been singing the praises of the Jack & Jill series ever since I took a chance on End of Day, the amazingly unique first book in the trilogy. It’s incredibly hard to maintain that level of excellence throughout a series though, and—I’ll admit it—I’m a difficult reader to please. I braced myself for disappointment with Dawn of Forever. I threw down the gauntlet, daring Jewel E. Ann to impress me again, and wouldn’t you know she picked it up and ran with it? Jewel E. Ann has pulled off the virtually impossible by creating not one, not two, but three full-length novels of exceptional quality.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned from Jewel’s storytelling it’s that she tends to lull the reader with humorous banter before destroying our emotions. Here though, the first couple chapters set the tone for the rest of the book and let you know right off the bat that this is going to be an angst-filled story.
The plot unfolds from the viewpoint of Jillian/Jessica, Jackson/Jude, Luke, and Ryn as, once again, the story switches back and forth between past and present. Jackson has always been a bit of an enigma, but we finally discover the circumstances that drove him to be the messed up manwhore he used to be. All our preconceptions are challenged as Jewel tosses the reader into one shocking revelation and twist after another. That’s not to say there aren’t lighthearted and romantic moments. Jessica’s argyle teasing, Ryn’s mojo, Luke’s Post-It notes, and Jackson’s irreverent humor provide wonderful levity.
Yes, I may have cursed Jewel E. Ann a few times for gutting me, but this is primarily a gorgeous love story featuring endearing, wonderfully imperfect, complex characters. Dawn of Forever is touching, gritty, sexy, suspenseful, and utter perfection. It’s a satisfying end to a truly spectacular trilogy. I can’t recommend the Jack & Jill series highly enough.
