This book can be downloaded and read in iBooks on your Mac or iOS device.
After a near-death experience, artist Ashley Price is compelled to paint visions of the dead, and fears she's gone crazy. Then she paints a man buried alive and, recognizing the surroundings, she rushes to save him.
Instead of being grateful to her for rescuing him, Detective Jack Sullivan accuses her of being in league with a serial killer. He swears he will put her behind bars. Except, the more time he spends with her, the more he falls under her spell. Can he trust her, or is he walking into another deadly trap?
Great suspense book with a touch of paranormal and a dash of romance.
Detective Jack Sullivan has been looking for a serial killer for years since he killed his sister. The killer has now set him up when he thinks Jack getting to close and captures him.
Three days later Ashley Price, who is an artist who is struggling with depression over something tragic that happened which resulted in her father keeping her daughter, has a horrible vision that she paints as she's having it. When the vision has passed and she looks at what she painted she realizes its on her property and its a man that has been buried alive. She rushes to the location and manages to dig him up and he's still alive. That man was Jack.
From here Jack believes that Ashley has to be working with the killer, especially when he finds other paintings she has done, all of murdered victims.
Almost 90% of this book is the mystery on figuring out who the killer is. The author does a great job of making you really have think on who it could be. Ashley and Jack's romance was slow to come but she was so emotionally unstable from her previous trauma even though she was working hard to overcome it so she could get her daughter back and Jack was just one tracked mind on getting the killer at the expenses of everything.
I really enjoyed this book and it looks like she is currently writing the Captain Bing's story. I will defiantly be buying that when it comes out.
Loved this one too...the characters are great...
