Delusion in Death
J. D. Robb
This book can be downloaded and read in Apple Books on your Mac or iOS device.
It was just another after-work happy hour at a bar downtown—until the madness descended. And after twelve minutes of chaos and violence, more than eighty people lay dead.
Lieutenant Eve Dallas is trying to sort out the inexplicable events. Surviving witnesses talk about seeing things—monsters and swarms of bees. They describe sudden, overwhelming feelings of fear and rage and paranoia. When forensics makes its report, the mass delusions make more sense: it appears the bar patrons were exposed to a cocktail of chemicals and illegal drugs that could drive anyone into temporary insanity—if not kill them outright.
But that doesn’t explain who would unleash such horror—or why. Eve’s husband, Roarke, happens to own the bar, but he’s convinced the attack wasn’t directed at him. It’s bigger than that. And if Eve can’t figure it out fast, it could happen again, anytime, anywhere. Because it’s airborne…

Another great book from Nora. Could not put it down! I love how all of the main characters mature, evolve and keep getting better. We see a softer, more vulnerable Eve but doesn't lose that edginess to her character. I also love how all the other supporting characters were included in this book, it was such a fun read! Gotta laugh about what Reineke overheard . . . You will burst out laughing!
Delusion in Death.
Excellent read. Love the way all characters are mentioned and part of the story. I would have liked to have Eve thank Somerset for reliving such a painful past in order to help her. Extremely good plot, although it began slowly. As in all the In Death series I can't wait for the next one.

This is the fifth book I have purchased through iTunes that has multiple missing chapters. It is a recent release, but cannot be read. I will not purchase any more books online unless I can be assured that the 'error' issues are fixed! Please advise.
