Desires of a Baron (Historical Regency Romance)
Book 2, Gentlemen of Honor

Giles Goddard, Lord Norcourt is odd. Born with his life's cord wrapped around his neck and sent away to Ireland to be raised in an orphanage run by nuns, he's known nothing but the cold sting of being misunderstood and altogether unwanted. But that's all about to change...
Lucy Whitaker is a fallen woman who has done her best to build a life for her and her son. But when her son finds a battered gentleman left on the side of the road, her entire world is about to come crashing down as she once again finds herself caught between two brothers: an heir and a spare.
Will Lucy's dislike for nobility forever keep her from eternal happiness or can Giles convince her to follow her heart and take a chance on loving a baron?
Desires of a baron
Excellently written! 2 great books by one author, who has now become one of my favorites.
No stars. Badly written.
It's hard to believe that a professional author wrote this poorly put together piece of junk. Extremely amateurish writing, ridiculous/convoluted storyline and dialogue (especially as it relates to the child's manner of speaking). Additionally, the story didn't flow at all, and that's because of the unintelligent writing. This piece of junk had to be written by a ghost writer (and a stupid one at that). I don't mean to be so rude, but it makes me angry that I paid money for something that's written so badly. Shame on the publisher for putting out this nonsensical piece of junk, and shame on this so called author for charging people money.
I don’t usually write reviews but I enjoyed this book so much that I thought I would this time. I have enjoyed all of Rose Gordon’s books that I have read so far but I think I like this one the best. I loved that the characters didn’t fit into the model that is usually used for protagonists in this genre. It made the characters and the story seem more genuine. The only thing that I have to say against this book is that the ending seemed a bit abrupt for my tastes. The ending of the book still left me wondering about a few plot points that felt slightly unresovled. Other than that though, I loved this book and highly recommend it!
