Sometimes to play dirty, you gotta dig deep…
Landscaper Nathan LeBeau knows exactly how to use his big equipment to make the earth move. The Native American bad-boy has a reputation for getting filthy—in and out of the bedroom.
So when good-girl Tate Cross needs dirt work done, she hires the wickedly hot and surprisingly intuitive Nathan—secretly hoping she’ll get more than just her flowerbeds plowed.
Smart and sexy Tate is exactly the type of woman Nathan’s been looking for. But he wants more than another fling, so he digs in his heels to prove to Miss-I-Don’t-Need-Romance that taking things slow will lead them to something real.
But Tate isn’t interested in being romanced—even when Nathan’s sweet and charming ways are hard to resist. She’ll use every tool at her disposal to convince the former player to play with her and that getting down and dirty together is as real as it gets.
Re-release of one of Lorelei James' earliest published novels. I honestly can't remember if I read the first publication. Regardless, the storyline and charaters are timeless! This another great read from LJ!! Definitely worth the read...gives you that feel good, HEA we all search for! Still sexy and another to add to my favorites
I really enjoyed this story.
**Advance copy was kindly provided by the author, but that has not influenced my review**
Sad to say I overlooked this book when catching up on Lorelei's books once I discovered her.....I think my focus were on all her series.....But I am so happy for this new edition release and the opportunity to read this book. I so loved it!!! What a great story. Nathan and Tate are so different but yet so perfect for one another. Their attraction is instant and off the chart sizzling hot, like only Lorelei can write it.
Wonderful quick read with a happy ending
I love the new cover on this book. I loved reading Tate's and Nathan's story the second time as much as I did the first time years ago. I enjoy the banter between them and Val too. as well as Nathan's sister and Tate's best Friend Val. I like that this book is a standalone with a happy ending filled with characters with strong personalities who grow and change through the story. If you are looking for a quick read this is it. You won't be able to put it down.
