A Melody Malone Mystery
This book can be downloaded and read in iBooks on your Mac or iOS device.
On some days, New York is one of the most beautiful places on Earth.
This was one of the other days…
Melody Malone, owner and sole employee of the Angel Detective Agency, has an unexpected caller. It’s movie star Rock Railton, and he thinks someone is out to kill him. When he mentions the ‘kiss of the Angel’, she takes the case. Angels are Melody’s business…
At the press party for Railton’s latest movie, studio owner Max Kliener invites Melody to the film set of their next blockbuster. He’s obviously spotted her potential, and Melody is flattered when Kliener asks her to become a star. But the cost of fame, she’ll soon discover, is greater than anyone could possibly imagine.
Will Melody be able to escape Kliener’s dastardly plan – before the Angels take Manhattan?
Great Lead-In to The Angels Take Manhattan
A must have for any Doctor Who fan!
I'm going to assume that most people taking a look at this book must be doing so since it was on the 5th episode of the Doctor Who episode. If thats the case just buy this book and read it already its well worth it!
If not then I'm not too sure if this would be a title for you. If you are into science fiction its worth a look at. Grated its nothing spectacular if you know nothing of the Doctor Who series, but still worth it in my eyes. The story is quite original, the characters are interesting, what more do you need to know?
All in all its a must have for anyone even the siltiest interest in the Doctor Who series, and if you are not try and the sample to get a good reading out of it. I know ill be enjoying this book!
Great stand alone story!
It is a short story that would have done well to be a bit longer. It didn't fill in any of the plot holes or back story of the Doctor Who episode "The Angels Take Manhattan. It was its own stand alone story. I thought that it would be a replica of the Melody Malone book that the Doctor was reading during the episode, but it wasn't. It was a good book though!
