Publisher Description
The great comic novel, which inspired the musical Man of La Mancha. According to Wikipedia, "Don Quixote, fully titled El ingenioso hidalgo Don Quijote de la Mancha ("The Ingenious Hidalgo Don Quixote of La Mancha") is an early novel written by Spanish author Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra. Cervantes created a fictional origin for the story based upon a manuscript by the invented Moorish historian, Cide Hamete Benengeli. Published in two volumes a decade apart, Don Quixote is the most influential work of literature to emerge from the Spanish Golden Age and perhaps the entire Spanish literary canon. As a founding work of modern Western literature, it regularly appears at the top of lists of the greatest works of fiction ever published."

Don Quixote
I had heard of this book all my life. I decided to read it upon learning that George Washington himself had several copies.
I laughed out loud, cringed, became angry, and - most importantly - was driven to greater and more thoughtful introspection of myself and how much I learned as I read this book. As was the case in Don Quixite’s esteem of Dulcinea, I doubt greatly that this book has a peer in both its drollness, yet wonderfully illustrated Christian and moral lessons or doctrines.
It would be a great pleasure to read and re-read. Thoroughly loved Don Quixote!
A Fine Fantasy
Let the reader meet the writer, as so fine a writer is the author of Don Quixote. Reeling with imagination, this book is spun out of the finest and most well educated and informed mind as the best of writing must be. For pure enjoyment and for spice added to life, I recommend the reading of Don Quixote to those who appreciate the finer things in life.
