Everyone has a doppelgänger… But what happens when that look-a-like is next in line to be Queen of a tiny island nation?

Lily Lyon's acting career is dead; her latest play closed on opening night. Broke, jobless, and willing to accept almost anything, Lily agrees to a unique opportunity offered by the mysterious (and sexy) Jasper, royal guard to Princess Genevieve of Ceresus. The job? One week in paradise pretending to be the princess and twenty thousand dollars.

However, Lily quickly discovers Her Highness' picture perfect life is a charade. When Princess Genevieve's body is discovered, skewered through the heart, Lily realizes she is in grave danger. But who can she trust, when everyone is a suspect?

This is a stand-alone reverse harem with adult themes. Recommended for readers over the age of 18.

Suspenseful Harem story!

Wow! This story had a lot of twists and turns for a shortie! Kind of had my head spinning (in a good way) with all the surprises! Of course there was sexy time included in this with 3 sexy men! I have always loved time period pieces and am glad I chose to read this! And I have really started to get into Harem stories as well!! Overall a great story!

Easy read

Quick, easy read that is enjoyable from the very first page. Characters are well developed for a novella.

This book kept having suprises till the very end and kept you engaged.

The one thing I didn't like was even though the ending was fully realized it was somewhat abrupt.

Fun and suspenseful

Doppelgänger is a fun, suspenseful royal read.

Lily is a now unemployed actress lusting over a display of pies when she's approached by a fan with a proposition. No, not that kind of proposition *wink*, but one where the fan asks her to pose as Princess Genevieve for a week. Lily's understandably taken aback, but when Jareth explains he's the Princess' Royal Guard and clarifies the situation the Princess is in, Lily is all for it. Once she arrives in Ceresus, though, she finds that instead of a sweet princess that her kingdome loves, the opposite is true - Genevieve is completely unliked and unlikable. It's going to take all of Lily's considerable acting skills to pull this off, because she's the complete opposite of Genevieve. And when Genevieve's body is found, will Jareth be able to protect her and find out who hated the Princess enough to kill her?

There are lots of unexpected twists, some royal and not so royal shenanigans, some fun, sexy times with more than one hot guy, and more than enough intrigue and suspense to keep anyone entertained. I fell in love with Lily and Jareth, and Demetri, Micah and Blake, too. Hopefully there will be more coming about them.
