Because I cannot eat mushrooms, many recipes are not appropriate for me. Also, there is a section of non-vegan recipes and so those also are not appropriate for me. Those 2 factors greatly diminish the number of recipes I can use.
This book repeats lots of the same recipes that are in Dr. Fuhrman's other books. If you were hoping for new recipes, you will be disappointed.
Simple & Healthy
Great cookbook that takes the guess work out of eating healthy and feeling great. After recently gaining a few pounds and lacking energy, this book helped me lose those extra pounds and gain a ton of energy. I still drink coffee (which is not recommended), but I don't experience the "afternoon crash" anymore. I started by making a few recipes that looked appealing, and after a month it is super easy to make healthy choices, lose weight, and have energy! Yes, some recipes are time consuming, but others are easy and take only 10 minutes. If you follow the suggestions, and stick to it, you will find "go-to" recipes that are perfect and make you feel great. I've been telling everyone about this cookbook!
