From Tragedy to Embracing Life
I don’t know how I can say anything without reviling the story.
I can say that it is a very good book. Jenna, (the main character), goes through a series of events that alter the course of her life. I can’t even imagine what it would be like to be in Jenna’s shoes. To be in a coma for eleven years. To feel as though you have gone to sleep at one stage of life and woke up to another. And then to add to that, to discover she has a daughter by Drake (her high school sweetheart). Jenna cries for weeks for all the lost years and the life she still wants.
Then walks in Trey, her physical therapist, who worked with her for the last few years while she was still in a coma, and when she wakes up. He had named her sleeping beauty while she was still in a coma and had a secret crush on her he didn’t even realize he had. She becomes tangled up between the feelings she still has for Drake and her new love for Trey. Her heart dose not want to let go of Drake. But, when she and Drake finally sit down to work through everything, they discover that, what was once the life they had planned, was now an impossible situation. This helps her to be able to let go of her past and her give heart over completely to Trey.
There is so much more to this book. I know you will want to get it to fill in the blanks. When you do, please give Anne a review to let her know how you liked it.
