It requires some basic knowledge of file and text editing to modify files - and some experience with markup language is expected. If you are experimenting with formatting EPUBs with pictures, captions, dropped caps, inserting pictures, and defining fonts with special characteristics - this book can save you a lot of work and time. The discussions and examples are clean and accurate. This book does not cover EPUB version 3 or later. It was a well written book otherwise.
