What's New in Version 2014.10.1
Updated popup navigation for iOS8 and iBooks 4. Added highlighting feature to indicate the target text of a link on mobile devices.
I am so thankful to find the ESV version here in the bookstore already - and for FREE! The ebook is professionally designed and well structured: there is a Table of Contents right at the beginning that let's you jump to any book you want very quickly. The beginning of each book has a chapter index allowing you to quickly jump to each individual chapter with one tap. Of course, all of the normal ebook navigation functions in the Apple Bookstore work properly (you can click the Index button at the upper left to return to a full/huge index, you can touch/drag along the bottom slider to see where you are and to jump quickly through the Bible, etc.).
Stoked that ESV is free
So awesome that this great translation is free. No issues whatsoever. Really enjoying having an offline copy on my iphone.
In my book - this aint no Bible!,
Remove "Jesus"...from the Bible?! Saw someone comment that Jesus had been removed from this thing, and thought the person must be cracked.
I did a search in the book itself for common names, John, even Job quickly returned results. The most important, Jesus, still returned no results after waiting nearly a minute. The person was RIGHT!
What is this thing?!? It's not a Bible...in my book! Sick joke, inaccurate. Why can't someone be held accountable for the incorrect content, Apple!??
