He had one summer left before his senior year in college, and Anthony Giovanni was determined to use it learning to run the family winery. But he'd make time for fun too, because it was also his last summer of freedom before he had to step up to work in the family business. A day of surfing with his brothers, which ended at a coffee shop, changed those plans when he was served a latte with a side of insta-love when he looked into the barista's beautiful chocolate brown eyes.
Abigail Anderson worked at a coffee bar on the beach with her best friends during the day and designed clothes at night, hoping someday to own her own her own store. This was all she needed to be happy, It was lonely existence at times, but being lonely beat being ripped apart. Love might never be in the cards for her again, because Abbey would never forget the hell she went through trying to get over loving and losing the man she'd let into her heart. She knew, if it happened again, she might not survive, so she avoided romantic entanglements. But then a handsome surfer boy strolled into her coffee shop and made his intentions clear. He wanted her and wasn't taking no for an answer.
Can Anthony convince Abigail he has no intentions of dying, when he had so much to live for? Will Abigail take a leap of faith to trust him at his word, or will she leave him hanging on the vine?
It was good
Romance really isn't my thing but I did enjoy this read. I liked the story and the characters within. I'm from the area that the story is set in and I enjoyed reading of places I've been- it really made the story come alive for me.
