Ligatures are messed up, still love it!
I'm loving the guidance for bringing the whole family on the Paleo lifestyle. But the book us chalk full of "fi", and "fl" ligature replacent with just "f". "Find" becomes "fnd", "first" becomes "frst". Over and over. Very distracting!
I hope this can be fixed in an update, but don't let this put you off! Get this!
Recipes tried need a bit of work
I am a foodie, I like good food that is loaded with layers of flavor and is beautiful to look at. I'm intrigued by paleo so I tried some of the recipes. Egg cupcakes: bacon needs to be cooked, use frozen thawed squeezed spinach, cook other veggies, no need for roasted peppers diced bell peppers will do nicely sautéed then combine and assemble. Don't forget to add some seasonings, basil is nice or some red pepper flakes but add something to brighten the cupcakes. Apple muffins need a bit more leavening (1/2t baking soda) and a tablespoon of lemon juice brightens the flavors. Use your imagination and your taste buds!
The book has many good recipes I haven't seen for Pelio before and has good motivation, I did expect more recipes than a workout regiment! Good if you want to Pelio your kiddos too!
